Obsolete prone carts

These are prone carts I have made that have been superseded by newer designs.

The above 2 shots are of the A1d model. Tilt was effected by hydraulic cylinder.

The 2 shots above are the A2a model. Fulcrum moved to midpoint eliminating hydraulic cylinder. Tilt effected by shifting of body weight.

The above 3 photos are of the A2b model. Showing functionality of shelf and tilt. Once inclined, a craftsman 1" open end wrench holds top in position. Sometimes I place a towel on rear part of top to add cushioning for my shins. A hand towel on the front part is also nice if your chest sweats.

The above shot is the A3a. 16" wheels instead of 24" makes reaching the ground easier, and transferring to and from the ground. Can you say "Gardening"? Rear wheels are from old push type lawn mower.
