Garden
I could never tend a garden before using prone carts, with all the bending over and trying to heave myself through soft tilled dirt. It's back breaking work. But by lying on the carts I haven't had back pain for quite a while.

This was the 1999 garden. The idea was to have rows of stuff, and consequently a row of dirt to till, instead of a broad patch. I would be on my prone cart on the grass in-between the rows.

Y2k garden…

My plant starting rack. A moss covered 3-handled family gridenza, or something like that. I can roll it out onto the deck in late spring for some sun and air.

2005 Garden collage. Somewhere along the line I lost the pic's for a few years. Along the way we yanked out the corners of the garden and made it bigger. Also, tilled it a solid patch for increased production. The row in the foreground is for herbs and the rebars you see in the foreground are for overhead grapevines. The burlap in the far right is protecting blueberry bushes. I really miss those nice corners in the old garden but I needed more space. More, more, more!!! The chest freezers not gonna fill itself up!
Fall 2006
Well, what can I say; I pulled the fence posts out with the farm jack on the west side and Brother Gary stopped by with his IH460 and the next thing you know the garden's twice as big as before! Slopes off a bit to the right so there's some of distortion in the collage, it actually goes out farther than it looks, but you get the idea. 2007; Look Out!

The dogleg on the right end is the new bit, and the weedy bits behind the left and center bit are the strawberries and asparagus. The weeds got ahead of me this fall. The tillage is now about 100' by 40' (Or 4000 square feet). BTW these shots are from my deck on the south side of the house about 14 feet off the ground.
Yeee Haaw!!!
SPRING 2008
Year of the Pig!

7 total; 3 Berkshire on the left, a couple Hamshire cross on the right, a Bluebutt behind, and in the rear a Durock spot cross. At least that's what I think they are???
They just got up for some cabbage scraps.
